Group of hikers walking on a trail in Asturias countryside.

Our tours are only as good as the people who lead them. That’s why we work with a small group of local guides, all based in Northern Spain. Most of them were born here; others have made Northern Spain their home and know it just as well. They’re biologists, historians, mountain guides, and cider lovers, and they all share one thing: they can’t wait to show you what they love about their region!

Why we work with local guides

They know the place

Which valley the bears use in early summer, which sidrería the locals actually go to, and when the Ruta del Cares is quiet. That kind of knowledge doesn’t come from a guidebook.

Your money stays here

Our guides are independent professionals who live in the villages you’ll visit. Booking a tour with them supports the local rural economy directly.

Every tour is small-scale

You won’t be one of 30 people following an umbrella. Your guide adapts the day to your pace, your interests and, if you’re travelling with children, to them too.

“For me, a great travel experience isn’t just about visiting places. It’s about meeting people, discovering their stories, understanding the territory, and taking away a memorable, emotional connection.”
